Other logistics…

  • Campfield is a car-free camping experience. The carless approach amplifies the soothing sounds of nature.

    There is parking on site for one car per reservation and second lot that is a 3 minute walk down the street. When you arrive, pull into the lot to unload your gear. The Camfield team will let you know if you need to move your car.

    EV charging is available on site.

    Campfield offers rentals, including:

    • Tabiki Kit, Kitchen Kit, or Tent + Tarp Kit Rentals

    • Takibi Tarp, Sleeping Pad, or Lantern Rentals

  • Heck yes! Nate and Jenny love being a bonus uncle and aunt. Please bring them or they’re getting a harmonica the next time we see them.

    Campfield and the surrounding area have plenty to do. Bikes and toys are welcome.

  • For the safety of our guests with allergies or fear of dogs, we ask that only human guests attend this weekend.

  • Snow Peak gear is not required to stay at Campfield. Please bring your favorite outdoor gear.

  • First and foremost, we want you with us to celebrate the joy of the weekend. That includes camping in a suite or site to get the full weekend experience.

    If you decide that staying on site is not right for you, let us know. We have connections with local hotels.

  • Long Beach has an average High 65° / Average Low 55° . Dressing in layers for usnny anfertoons and plesant evenings. Rain happens.

  • Check-in is from 4:00-7:00 pm on Friday

    Check-out is 11:00 am Sunday

The Wedding Itself

  • Our wedding is intended to be a celebration of our love and bond that is already 15 years in the making.

    We’re modeling our ceremony evening on our favorite nights at camp. A nice drink, a great meal, and quality time together followed by a fireside ceremony inspired by our favorite campfire ranger programs at the National Parks.

    After the ceremony , we’ll have dessert and a . We’d love for you to stay and party with us until you’re ready to head back to you camp. Small groups and campfires are encouraged to keep the party going as late as you like… no promises on

  • Yes! We think it fits the vibe of the day better and gives everyone a chance to relax before the ceremony and celebration.

    Plus, after 15 years together, what’s a few more minutes legally un-wed?

  • Nate and Jenny will be spiffed up with wedding suit and gown for the evening.

  • We already have a home with over a decade of stuff (including the wedding registry fan favorite the kitchenaid mixer). We’re already blessed to have everything we need and then some.


    You taking the time to make the trip out to Long Beach to celebrate with us for the weekend is the best gift of all. We’ll look forward to spending time with you.

    If you don’t want to come empty handed, we’d welcome a greeting card we could keep as a keepsake.

    Jenny collects handwritten recipie cards and would love one or two from you.

  • The Wash House and Ofuro have well appointed private bathrooms and shower rooms. Outlets for hair dyers and other small grooming products are located in each room.

    The jyubakos have private bathrooms with showers in them.
